Introduction from Citizen Ben
Revving My Engines
As an actor, writer, and activist, I’ve spent my life telling stories—stories that entertain, provoke thought, and, hopefully, inspire change. But in today’s world, it feels like the most urgent narrative isn’t one found in scripts or novels—it’s the real-life political drama unfolding before our eyes. It affects our families, our communities, and the future we are shaping every day. I write this Substack out of frustration, out of a deep concern for where we stand today as a society. Politics is no longer just a matter of policy and governance—it seeps into our culture, our art, and our very identities.
1. Respect

2. Share
Join in the conversation. Let everyone know when you disagree and share your ideas! This is your forum as much as mine. Use your voice while you still have one.
3. Getting the finger(s)
I will post when a subject overwhelms me and my fingers need to fly on the keyboard. This happens often but I will post at least once a week. Oh, please remember to subscribe to Citizen Ben.
